District 5 FCCLA Officers Meet May 12

The District 5 FCCLA officers and advisers met on Monday, May 12
at 5:00 p.m. at Schuyler Central High School. Election of officers
was held. The 2008-2009 District Officers are: President - Megan Indra of Leigh-Clarkson, Vice President and Vice President of Awards - -Halie Schomaker of Program, Secretary - Courtney Betzen of David City, Public Relations - Cassy Cech of Howells-Dodge, Historian - Kaitlyn Coufal of East Butler, and Vice President of Recreation and Installation - Jessica Philippy of Schuyler. District Adviser is
Marla Prusa of Howells-Dodge.
The business meeting was called to order by the president. The
treasurer's report was given by Judy Davis of David City. Plans for District Leadership Conference in Prague on Tuesday, October 14 were discussed. The theme is "Light the Way With FCCLA." Chapter duties,
speakers and sessions were discussed. The meeting was adjourned. Snacks were provided by the Schuyler Central FCCLA Chapter. The next meeting will be Monday, August 11 at 4:00 p.m. at Prague High School.
