Howells Students Win Awards At Wayne State College Business Competition Day
Howells ties for 3rd/4th

Students from Howells High School participated in the Wayne State Business Competition Day at Wayne State College on Thursday, April 10.
Thirty-one schools from Northeast Nebraska competed in this year's
contest. The students from Howells tied for 3rd/4th in the team
competition. Other schools placing in the top five were Tekamah-Herman, Columbus Lakeview, Wayne, and Chambers.
Award winners honored at the afternoon awards ceremony were: 5th Place in Business Communications - Dillon Dostal; 4th Place in Marketing - E. J. Brodecky; 3rd Place in Business Plan - Rachel Tichota and Nicole Ortmeier; 1st Place in Sales - E. J. Brodecky and 1st Place in Keyboarding I (83 wpm) - Cori Renner.
