The Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter participated in the State FCCLA Project "Care, Share and Be Aware." This project challenged FCCLA chapters around the state to collect items for children being treated for cancer. The Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter collected a variety of toys, games, gift cards, phone cards, clothing, and food items and donated them at Faith Regional Medical Center in Norfolk to benefit a 10-year-old girl who is being treated for cancer and her family.
The Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter was honored at the State FCCLA Leadership Conference for collecting the most items in District 5.
District Officer Keith Cech of the Howells-Dodge Chapter represented
the chapter during the awards presentation.
