Keith Cech is the lone returning letter winner on this year’s team, but several of the golfers have varsity experience, including Micky Schumacher, Chris Bartling, Andrew Faltys, and DJ Michael. The golf team also has several newcomers this year that hope to contribute, including the first females to participate on the Howell’s golf team. The girls’ golf season is typically held in the fall, but several teams allow girls to participate in the spring season instead. The girls will have to follow the same rules as the guys as well as teeing off from the men’s tee box and competing against the guys. This year’s golf schedule is still being finalized, but it looks to be a busy spring again this year. The golf team is looking forward to warmer weather and hopefully less rain than last year.
